Time for a really pointless exercise… How many one-letter tickers do you know? It’s natural if you don’t know all 26, as two letters don’t have a company assigned to them anyway. I got 17 out of 24 when running through the alphabet. I didn’t know D, G, I, J (because there isn’t one), L, N, U (because there isn’t one), V (felt stupid on this one), and Y. So try your hand at it… A is for (not AAPL), B is for “uhhh…”, C if for “hmmm…”, etc. Some will give you the “I should’ve known that” feeling if you don’t get them (e.g., C, P, S, T, V).
