Chaikin Analytics: Brilliant or bust? In the endless expanse that is the world wide web, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed, even lost. Investing is not only an essential part of adult life, it’s also a vulnerable one. At the end of the day, what matters more than your money, your future, the lives of your loved ones and your children? That’s why it’s important to make sure you’re getting the right information from the right places. There’s an incredible amount of bad advice out there from people who want to sell you on the idea that you can attain a lifestyle instead of giving you the information you need to earn consistently. I searched high and low for a news and analysis aggregate that would accomplish three things: 1) Use big data to help me compete with bigwig brokers 2) Keep me informed without eating up a ton of time 3) Present necessary due diligence cleanly Throughout my search, I used sites like CNBC’s investing wing, Motley Fool, and Morning Star. While each of these had redeeming qualities, I ultimately found problems with each. CNBC is too mainstream—by the time you’re reading tips on CNBC, it’s too late. Motley Fool is a great resource, but its wide range of articles and editorials means that it ends up contradicting itself. Additionally, their due diligence (DD) sometimes feels shallow. Morningstar was closer to what I wanted, but I found its layout to be cluttered and confusing. That’s why I was so relieved to discover Chaikin Analytics, a resource that satisfies my three requirements, and then some. Every morning I receive an informative, succinct catch up on the day’s news. This is supplemented by in-depth webinars when I have the time or quick-bite articles when I feel rushed. But the thing that sets Chaikin Analytics apart from all the others is that it turns complicated math into something digestible. Their PowerGauge metric tells me which way a stock is heading in seconds—no deep dives needed. Green means go, red means caution. This lets me add some risk into my investing plan without derailing my portfolio completely. Overall, I’d give Chaikin Analytics a 9/10. So few things in life are perfect, but Chaikin gets pretty close. Finally, I feel ahead of trends like Tesla (TSLA) and Gamestop (GME,) instead of one step behind, holding the bag. Source
