After the close on Friday, Windstream (WIN) reported losing the debt lawsuit with Aurelius that might force the company into bankruptcy. Uniti Group (UNIT) was split out by Windstream in the sale-leaseback deal that the judge rules as a covenant breach. The company still obtains a majority of revenues from Windstream that are now at risk due to a potential bankruptcy. Uniti Group has long held to have lease protections since Windstream is substantially dependent on their network for operations and the company is obligated as "Carrier of Last Resort" to provide services to customers under regulatory law. The question here is whether Uniti Group rebounds after the extended holiday period to rebound on Tuesday from the after-hour close of down 30% to $13.99. You have until 7am on Tuesday to enter a vote on whether you agree that Uniti Group will close at $14 or above on Tuesday or disagree that the stock will trade even lower. Disclosure: No position.
