Learn How to Mix the Perfect Cocktail According to Science

Making a cocktail is no longer an art, it’s a science.

Wired has teamed up with Jennifer Colliau, beverage director at The Interval at The Long Now in San Francisco, to take a look at how using ice to control a drink’s temperature can result in the perfect cocktail. Stirring her drinks with a thermometer, to monitor the temperature at all times, Colliau attains the perfect amount of dilution from her melting ice.
