Under Armour agreed to buy MapMyFitness Inc. for $150 million. UA wants to compete with Nike Inc. by offering more gear that allows athletes to measure their training and performance online. MapMyFitness was founded in 2007, and designs applications that allow users to record and share the results of their works using global positioning technology. Currently MapMyFitness has about 20 million registered users worldwide, who can measure their workouts on over 400 devices.
