Italy and China agreed on business deals valued at 8 billion euros in sectors ranging from energy to engineering. The deals further solidify China's commercial ties in the E.U.'s third largest economy. China has spent over 5 billion euros in the last year acquiring stakes in some of Italy's largest firms. Matteo Renzi, Italy's Prime Minister said the deals weren't anything more than an "antipato" and should open the way for more deals with China in the future. He also said, "We must bring more China to Italy and take more Italy to China."
