4:30AM EST Bank of England will release MPC Asset Purchase Facility Votes and MPC Official Bank Rate Votes, whichprovide insight into which members are changing their stance on asset purchases and interest rates and how close the committee is to enacting a change in future.

US:

8:30AM EST Bureau of Labor Statisticswill release Core CPI m/m, which measures change in the price of goods and services purchased by consumers, excluding food and energy. Please note that release date has been delayed by 5 days due to the US government shutdown.  Moreover, Census Bureau will release Core Retail Sales m/m, which measures change in the total value of sales at the retail level, excluding automobiles, and will also release Retail Sales m/m, which measureschange in the total value of sales at the retail level. Please note that release date has been delayed by 6 days due to the US government shutdown.

10:00AM EST National Association of Realtors will release Existing Home Sales, which measuresannualized number of residential buildings that were sold during the previous month, excluding new construction.

2:00PM EST Federal Reserve will release FOMC Meeting Minutes, which providein-depth insights into the economic and financial conditions that influenced interest rates setting.

Canada:

4:15PM EST Bank of Canada will release BOC Gov Stephen Poloz Speaks due to testify, along with Senior Deputy Governor Tiff Macklem, before the Senate Standing Committee on Banking, Trade, and Commerce, in Ottawa. Traders usually examine his public engagements for clues regarding future monetary policy.

China:

8:45PM EST Markit will release HSBC Flash Manufacturing PMI, which measures the level of a diffusion index based on surveyed purchasing managers in the manufacturing industry.

Japan:

Tentative Time Bank of Japan will release Monetary Policy Statement, which isamong the primary tools the BOJ uses to communicate with investors about monetary policy.
