So far, the group has one hit and one miss this earnings season.Back on July 18, Netflix, Inc. delivered EPS of $0.09, a big beat compared to consensus forecast of $0.02. Revenue of $2.1 billion was mostly in line with expectations. However, the stock tanked more than 11 percent on weak Q2 subscription growth and lackluster Q3 guidance.Facebook Inc , exceeded the market's high expectations, delivering earnings of $0.97 per share on revenue of $6.44 billion in Q2. Both numbers topped consensus Wall Street estimates of $0.82 and $6.02 billion, respectively. Facebook shares are up less than 1 percent following the big news.Several big names have spoken about the FANG stocks in recent days. During his recent Benzinga exclusive comments on Netflix, Mark Cuban also said that Amazon.com, Inc. is a stock that continues to dominate its space, regardless of its quarter-to-quarter fluctuations.Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Youssef Squali expects Amazon revenue to grow about 26 percent from last year, nearly double the industry average. Squali sees a continuing shift to e-commerce, and robust 3P and AWS growth as key drivers.Recode’s Mark Bergen will be watching for signs that Alphabet Inc ’s Google unit can be something more than an ad sales business.Finally, CNBC analyst Tim Seymore said on Thursday that he’s a buyer of Alphabet ahead of earnings.Wall Street is looking for EPS of $1.14 on revenue of $29.73 billion from Amazon.Consensus expectations for Alphabet are EPS of $8.07 on revenue of $16.88 billion.Source
