The 2016 Major League Baseball season will go down in history and could finally be the year Chicago Cubs fans have waited for so long. Remarkably, the Cubs have come back from a 3-1 deficit in the World Series to force a Game 7 tonight in Cleveland.
108 Years Vs. 68 Years
Tickets to witness history are in extremely high demand, and prices are some of the highest seen in years for a Game 7. Overnight, the average asking price rose 56 percent. Tonight will mark the most expensive MLB game in the last seven years, according to TicketIQ, with the average asking price at $4,700.
After tonight, Cleveland, a former cursed sports city of its own before the Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA Championship, could have concurrent titles in the four major sports. The city hadn't won a major title since 1964.
Game 6 marked the most watched World Series game
All eyes will be on the diamond tonight. It will be a night that Cubs fans may never have expected and will certainly never forget.
