Wynn Resorts Ltd. WYNN declared its plans of building an entertainment destination around a 38 acre lagoon, the first of its kind, on the Las Vegas Strip.The plan, discussed by Steve Wynn and Wynn Resorts, has to be approved by the company’s board of directors. The lagoon will be surrounded by 260,000 square feet of premium meetings space a 1000 room hotel tower, casino, and other amenities.The lagoon will be surrounded by a white sand beach and boardwalk. Visitors can indulge in a wide range of daytime activities such as water skiing, paddle boarding and parasailingIt is likely to be called Wynn Paradise Park and will be developed on 130 acres of real estate that at present serves as the location of the Wynn Golf Club.Wynn Las Vegas was opened on Apr 28, 2005 while Encore Las Vegas was opened on Dec 22, 2008.
