Aircraft componenet supplier Spirit Aero posted a higher than expected quarterly profit after it cut costs. The companies shares rose 7.8% from a year ago. To cut cost the Spirit Aero has been cutting staff and selling assets such as Oklahoma operations that control wing design for Gulfstream and some Boeing jets. Spirit reported a net in one of $93.7 million or 65 cents per share. They're quarter wasn't been than last year when they raked in $134.4 million.
