Natural gas futures - weekly outlook: August 24 - 28

© Reuters. Natural gas futures end the week down 4.5% on cooler weather conditions - Natural gas futures sank to a more than six-week low on Friday, as forecasts for mild weather across key consumption regions of the U.S. in the week ahead dampened demand expectations for the fuel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange, natural gas for delivery in September fell to an intraday low of $2.670 per million British thermal units, the weakest level since July 9, before ending at $2.676, down 7.9 cents, or 2.87%.
