General Motors will be recalling another 2.4 million vehicles, making it the 29th time doing so this year. From these recalls, GM will have $200 million more charges coming to them, raising the total number to $400 million. Some of the recalled cars include Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia. These vehicles are suffering from front safety lap belt cable issues. Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac GC (2004-2008) are also being called in to fix a shift cable issue that can cause mismatches of gear positions. Cadillac Escalades and ESV's from 2015 model will be coming in for fixes relating to insufficiently heated plastic weld that attaches the air bag to the panel assembly.
