Most of us know how popular iOS applications have become these days. Well, Apple recently boasted its $10 billion sale in apps for 2013. Not only that, they claim that $1 billion of that came from December sales alone, and that about 3 billion apps were downloaded within the month. One would believe that this number suggest strength in the company, however, we see that Apple shares actually hovered around break-even level, at $542 per share. On the other hand, shares from other companies like Yahoo went up 3% to $41.05 and Pandora also went up 3.5% to $32.59. What do you guys think are the reasons these companies are doing better than Apple despite their outstanding sales numbers?
