NEW YORK () -- Shares of Norwegian Cruise Line () were sliding in mid-afternoon trading on Friday as fellow cruise liner Carnival (CCL) was downgraded by Morgan Stanley to "underweight" from "equal weight" this morning.
The firm dropped its price target on Doral, FL-based Carnival's stock to $48 from $58 in a note cited by the Fly.
Morgan Stanley noted that cruise industry metrics appear to have been weak in August.
