Should You Invest in GOOG or GOOGL?

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- In April 2014, Google (GOOGL - Get Report) (GOOG - Get Report) issued one Class C share for every outstanding Class A/Class B share. According to the registration document for the Class C shares, they're equal in every respect to the other types - except they have no voting rights.

Today, the Class C shares are known as "GOOG," while the Class A shares use the ticker symbol "GOOGL."
