ONEOK Partners: Making Sense Of The Recent Capital Raise

According to a recent press release, ONEOK Partners (NYSE:OKS) has sold 21.5 million units to its General Partner ONEOK, Inc (NYSE:OKE) for $650M. In addition, ONEOK will be contributing an additional $15.3M to maintain its 2% General Partner interest. Furthermore, ONEOK Partners will be selling 3.3M units for $100M to Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors, L.P. (NYSE:KYN) via a direct offering.
