Telus Corp. edged out BCE Inc. to become Canada's second largest wireless operator in 2013. Telus had more wireless subscribers that BCE for both the third and forth quarters. This is the first time the company has beat BCE for two consecutive quarters. Telus had 7.81 million wireless subscribers 6.75 million which were in long term contract at the end of December. While BCE had 7.78 million wireless subscribers with 6.68 in long term contracts. Rogers Communications Inc. Remains the country's largest carrier.
