More Squawk From Jim Cramer: United (UAL) CEO Can Handle Challenged Airline

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- United Continental (UAL - Get Report) CEO Oscar Munoz has "got the work cut out for him, but he can handle it," TheStreet's Jim Cramer said on CNBC's Squawk on the Street on Thursday morning after interviewing Munoz, who returned last month to work following a heart transplant earlier this year.

"Oscar is a hero for many people," Cramer added. "Unfortunately the stock is down."

Shares of United are retreating 7.73% to $54.07 this morning after the airline carrier reported revenue of $8.2 billion for the 2016 first quarter, representing a 4.8% year-over-year decline. Consolidated passenger revenue per available seat mile dropped 7.4% during the quarter.
