The revised GDP figures out of the UK showed an expansion of 0.7% in the second quarter, which is 0.1% above estimates. Exports played a major role in the economy expanding in the quarter by increasing 15.2%, the highest since the fourth quarter of 2011. Germany is the only country in the Euro-zone doing better than the UK. Capital formation, government spending, and private spending are all higher compare to last quarter.
