According to Adobe Systems Incorporated (NASDAQ:ADBE), hackers broke into their internal network and accessed the personal information of nearly 2.9 million Adobe customers. Hackers were also able to tap into the source codes of those programs. For example, credit/debit cards and passwords were compromised. But according to Brad Arkin, Adobe’s chief security office, “At this time, we do not believe the attackers removed decrypted credit or debit card numbers from our systems.” Currently, Adobe is working to notify affected customers and their banks. Addition, the company is changing client passwords and shoring up security. The stock is currently not being affected by the news.
