Amazon has been on a roll lately when it comes to adding new services to their roster. Recently, they've rolled out another service that allows people to return unwanted stuff using metal lockers that is installed in garages and convenience stores. This will solve one of their issues that is the cost of shipping returns. The company has been installing these lockers in public areas for several years. How it works is as follows: The package gets put in one of the cabinets in a locker and the customer receives some kind of code that is used to open it. As long as they do so within 2-3 days, all is well. Now, they can do the same with returns, allowing customers to use the code to open the locker and drop off their unwanted products to be picked up and returned by carriers.
