Guess reported late yesterday that its 4th quarter profit dropped to $69.6 million, which equates to 82 cents per share. At the same time last year, the figure was closer to $72.5 million, or 85 cents per share. The revenue for the 3 months (ended February 1st) came out to $768.4 million, a drop from previously recorded $815.1 million. Analysts had expectations that Guess would bring in 78 cents per share on $758 million revenue generated. At the same time, they expected their 1st quarter loss to be somewhere between 5 cents and 9 cents per share. Furthermore, Guess's shares dropped about 7% during after-hours.
