On the surface, the economy seems to be growing. There are millions of new jobs out there which usually means that the economy is getting better. However, analysis say that the reason there are so many job openings is due to the fact that there is a skills gap. These openings are costing businesses hundreds of dollars a day. According to CNN, the persisting problem with the economy is businesses turn away many people who don't have the skills to fill the position. Also the businesses are not offering job training to train an employee. "Employers want ready-now people. As you get to the type of labor market where we're in now, that's not going to be available in a lot of these jobs." Joseph Fuller, a Harvard Business School professor said.
