Facebook (FB) Cofounder Moskovitz Says Cybersecurity Attacks Have Gotten More Serious

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Facebook (FB) co-founder Dustin Moskovtiz joined CNBC's "Power Lunch" on Friday afternoon to talk about cybersecurity in light of the online attacks from earlier today.

The hacks on Friday morning affected East Coast user access to Twitter (TWTR), Spotify, Netflix (NFLX), Amazon.com (AMZN), Tumblr (YHOO) and other sites.

Moskovitz left Facebook in 2008 to co-found Asana, a program that helps teams organize projects and said security is important to him.

"Security is a huge concern. Like with any enterprise company, it's just really important to our customers that their data is safe and also that the site is available," he explained.

Asana has a "really accomplished security team" to help protect user's data, Moskovitz claimed.
