The hacks on Friday morning affected East Coast user access to Twitter (TWTR), Spotify, Netflix (NFLX), Amazon.com (AMZN), Tumblr (YHOO) and other sites.
Moskovitz left Facebook in 2008 to co-found Asana, a program that helps teams organize projects and said security is important to him.
"Security is a huge concern. Like with any enterprise company, it's just really important to our customers that their data is safe and also that the site is available," he explained.
Asana has a "really accomplished security team" to help protect user's data, Moskovitz claimed.
