(NYSE:GME) shares are advancing in the early session of trading after the video game retailer posted first quarter earnings of 59 cents per share, three cents above analysts’ estimates. As a result of strong demand for new games consoles and expanding growth of its mobile business, GameStop forecasted higher second quarter earnings than the consensus estimate amount.
