The S&P 500 price and earnings per share (EPS) estimate for the third quarter declined, according the report released by FactSet, a financial research and investment analytics applications provider. FactSet noted that third-quarter bottom-up EPS estimate for all the companies listed in the S&P 500 fell by 3.5% to $29.01 from $30.07.
