Citrix Systems (CTXS) Stock Rises on Potential Sale

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Citrix Systems (CTXS - Get Report) stock is up by 1.61% to $73.31 in early morning trading on Wednesday, following reports that the company is attempting to sell itself as a whole, according to Reuters.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based Citrix is a software provider offering networking, mobile management, and virtualization solutions.

The company is speaking with buyout firms and reaching out to technology companies, such as Dell, in a final effort to sell itself, sources told Reuters.
