(Image source: finecut.co.uk) According to a survey conducted by the Confederation of British Industry, confident among British manufacturers are at a 40 year high. Optimism among the group was 33 percentage points higher than the pessimistic outlook. The survey suggests that the U.K. economy is rebounding well. Manufacturers were also optimistic about domestic new orders rising. I believe this survey bolds well for first quarter GDP for the British economy, which comes out next week.
