Nokia announced today Samsung Electronics Co., the world's largest mobile phone maker, has agreed to continue licensing its patents for five more years. This is a great deal for Nokia because they have secured a steady stream of revenue for the next five years while they rebuild revenue, remember the company sold its handset unit earlier this year to Microsoft. Patents will prove to be a valuable assets for the Finland based Nokia. Starting Jan. 1 Samsung will pay Nokia additional compensation.
