Panasonic raised its full year forecast for earnings today, after its quarterly report showed strong sales for its automotive systems along eco friendly technology. The forecast has been raised to $270 billion yen from $250 billion yen. After a grueling restructuring that leads to Panasonic moving out of the plasma TV, and smartphone markets tagged along with downsizing their workforce in its chipmaking unit, the company had a net profit of 61.5 billion yen for the quarter ending in September.
