As the popularity of Bit Coins came to realization, many online gaming sites are doing what they can to take advantage of this new virtual currency. I remember writing earlier about online poker sites accepting Bit Coins in order to accept US players again. As of now, Zynga decided to join in on the fun. As of this weekend, the gaming company announced that it will start testing bitcoin payments for some games. After this announcement, BitCoin spiked above $1,000 for the second time. BitCoin is considered to be a virtual currency as well as a payment protocol. The idea that it has no true regulation nor does it involve a central bank makes it a very attractive option for many (not to mention the transparency that comes with it). The games that are currently undergoing Zynga's test are Farmville 2, CastleVille, ChefVille, CoasterVille, Hidden Chronicles, Hidden Shadows, and CityVille. What do you guys think?
