Yesterday Twitter announced it acquired Namo Media, the company specializes in "native advertising" for mobile devices. Namo Media said its technology would be added to MoPub, a ad serving platform Twitter bought for $300 million last year. The plan is to improve Twitter's ability to bring "native ads" into apps and mobile websites. Kevin Weil, Twitter's Vice President of product said in the blog post, "We share a vision for how native advertising can improve the state of mobile app monetization for marketers, app publishers, and users."
