Amazon.com Inc.’s Chief Financial Officer, Thomas Szkutak, plans to step down from his post next year, due to complaints from shareholders over lacking profits and high spending. Szkutak, worked held the position for twelve years. Vice President of finance for global consumer business, Briand Olsavsky, will succeed Szkutak, starting June of 2015. The news comes a week after Amazon.com’s largest deal in company history, in which they acquiring live streaming gaming network Twitch Interactive for $970 million. In a statement Amazone.com said, “Szkutak and Olsavsky will work together to conduct seamless transition of CFO responsibilities over the next 10 months.”
