Practicing Patience With General Electric

General Electric (GE) is a company I purchased back in 2013 when I believed it was deeply undervalued and it essentially has been left in the dust by the broader market, having only gained 4.39% versus the 26.21% gain the S&P 500 has posted since May 24, 2013. That is why I always maintain that you must stay prudent and do some homework on the names in your portfolio. With the last article I wrote about the company, I stated, "After doing this analysis, I don't mind that this previous dividend increase was small because it shows fiscal responsibility and I like the stock because it is undervalued, hence I'll be buying it again next week." With that said, I'm going to take a look at the stock right now and see what has happened recently.
