Plaxico Burress — the former Jets and Giants star receiver who spent 20 months in prison for carrying an unregistered gun to a club and accidentally shooting himself — now wants to help other NFL stars make money on the stock market. Burress, 37, who joined SNY as an NFL analyst last year, is teaming up with self-proclaimed penny stock mogul Timothy Sykes to help current and former pros learn about stocks. “I played pro sports for a lot of years and you hear the horror stories about [players] making investments,” Burress told us. “[The players] really get no financial education. You know nothing about the stock market.”
