Autodesk Inc. said its loss widened in the latest quarter as revenue continued to decline amid the design software company's transition to a subscription-based business.
Excluding certain items, the adjusted per-share loss was bigger than feared and the company's guidance for the current quarter also disappointed.
Shares fell 3% to $73 in recent after-hours trading.
For the three months ending in January, Autodesk forecasted adjusted per-share loss of 32 cents to 39 cents and revenue of $460 million to $480 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected an adjusted per-share loss of 31 cents and revenue of $487.5 million.
