The average truck count stood at 7,196, up 5%. Operating income increased 25% year over year to $44.8 million mainly on the back of higher revenues, improved asset utilization and lower dependence on third-party carriers.Integrated Capacity Solutions (ICS) revenues improved 12% year over year to $183 million on the back of a 45% rise in volumes. On a year-over-year basis, revenue per load fell 23% primarily due to lower fuel prices and weak transactional customer demand. Operating income surged 63% year over year to $10.8 million.Truck (JBT) revenues were up 5% year over year to $96 million. At the end of the reported quarter, the company operated 2,270 tractors, up 12.3% year over year. Operating income improved 8% to $9.2 million.LiquidityAt the end of the reported quarter, cash and cash equivalents were $5,992 million compared with approximately $5,566 million at 2015-end. Total revenues for 2016 are still projected to grow in the band of 9% to 12% over 2015 levels.
