Delta (NYSE: DAL) will be cutting back on flights toward the end of this year, according to CNN. The airline, due to the current commodities and currencies market, will be reducing the number of international flights in October, November and December. Delta will cut flights to Japan, African, the Middle East and India between 15 and 20 percent, CNN reported. The airline will suspend flights to Moscow. These flight decreases come in spite of Delta’s $1.2 billion quarter profit, the highest profit the airline has ever had.
