The U.S. economy only added a lousy 148,000 jobs for the month of September. It’s a far cry from the 180,000 jobs that economists were predicting. Where are the bulk of jobs coming from?: 1. Transportation and warehousing-added 23,000 positions 2. Government sector-added 22,000 positions 3. Retail-added 21,000 position 4. Construction-added 20,000 positions Retail and construction additions were nearly all temporary (part-time) positions. We keep constantly hearing that the economy is recovering at this point it’s nothing but a fool’s gold.
