Google Inc., Red Hat Inc., and Oracle Corp. are among some of the tech companies who are sending their engineers and programmers to help the Obama administration fix the U.S. health insurance website. Since its launch on Oct. 1 the website has been hampered with outages. "They are working through the analytics of what happens on the site to prioritize what needs to be fixed." according to Julie Bataille, a spokeswoman for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, said on a conference call with the press. The White House started touting this "tech surge" on Oct. 20 to fix both software and technology problems with the website; healthcare.gov.
