Nintendo Co. will be releasing a new inexpensive handheld gaming system this holiday season in North America and Europe. Named the 2DS the price will be $129.99, its the latest addition to Nintendo's 3DS line and will hit retailers shelves on October 12th, it will play both 3DS and DS games but with 2D graphics. This is the game makers newest attempt to win back gamers among the new stiff competition, mobile app games have been bringing to the table. I hear more about Candy Crush nowadays than I ever hear about Mario or Zelda, so hopefully Nintendo can win back some consumers with this.
