Exxon Mobil (XOM) Stock Falls Along With Crude Prices

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Shares of Exxon Mobil (XOM - Get Report) are down 0.12% to $73.30 in afternoon trading on Tuesday as falling crude prices take their toll on the oil sector today.

Oversupply concerns continue to be responsible for falling crude prices while concerns about the state of China's economy exacerbate the negative pressure on the oil industry.

Industry standard Brent crude for November delivery is down 1.53% to $48.17 per barrel while West Texas crude for October delivery are down 2.68% to $45.43 per barrel.
