Turkish lira fell during trading on Wednesday, to its lowest level in more than a month before the US dollar extended its losses from the previous session, when the governor of the Turkish Central Bank indicated that interest rates may be reduced during a meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee next week. After falling to 2.36 against the dollar yesterday from 2.35 on Monday and continued to pound back down to hit 2.3798 and this is the lowest level of the Turkish currency since mid-December
